Born in Tvrdosovce, same village
as Juraj SZIKORA. Premier
league started to
play in Inter (currently ASK Inter) Bratislava, but they were not
satisfied with him,
so that he moved to Lokomotiva Kosice,
where he became a conductor and captain of
the team. With a team he experienced second league as well.
To representation form he got
after transfer (army duty) to Czech rep. club Dukla
Prague. First time represented Czechoslovakia in 1972 against Luxembourg.
Stabile
spot in representation achieved in 1975. Member of Czechoslovak
national team,
"European champions 1976" from
Yugoslavia.
Represented Czechoslovakia 17 times
and scored 3 goals.
